Ileana Vasdeki
Founder, ILEVATION
For over eighteen years, Ileana has been designing, shaping, and delivering educational programs on disability — in Greece and internationally.
As Director of Strategy, Coordination & Communications at SKEP – The Association of Social Responsibility for Children and Youth since 2008, she designed and delivered training programs on accessibility and inclusion for corporate executives, training more than 6,000 employers and executives from organizations including Telekom, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Intralot, Google, Kotsovolos, Bosch, BASF, BBDO, VANDO, Olympic Brewery, the Fourlis Group, Ogilvy, the British Council, and Pfizer.
Alongside this work, she has collaborated with hundreds of organizations, educators, employees, and communities of people with disabilities, steadily building a deep understanding of the structural barriers that limit equal access and participation.
Her work at SKEP did not go unnoticed: she was twice selected by the U.S. Embassy in Athens to represent Greece in the United States on disability issues. In 2020, through the Externship Program, she volunteered for two weeks at The IDEAL School of Manhattan in New York; in 2024, as part of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), she visited three U.S. states, the State Department, and the U.S. Department of Education, focusing on legislative frameworks and the advancement of inclusive education.
For Ileana, accessibility and inclusion were never just a professional field. They were — and remain — a personal commitment.
From this journey, ILEVATION was born. Today, Ileana works alongside people with disabilities to design the structures and strategies that make inclusion a reality for organizations.
